This extra foot adds approximately 12% more internal cargo space, bringing it to a total of 2,694 cubic feet. The extra internal space also makes it easier to store large or awkwardly shaped items. 8' Rollup Door (+ $2,500): If you are using your container for storage and you anticipate yourself frequently going in and out of your container, the standard large swing doors of a shipping container can become a hassle.
