West Gulf, 40ft High Cube Container (WWT)

The 40-foot High Cube Wind and Water Tight Containers sold at West Gulf containers have been retired by the shipping line and are now available at budget-friendly prices. They are one of our most popular products for their combination of low price point and high level of functionality. “High Cube” means the container is 9 feet 6 inches tall instead of 8 feet 6 inches of the standard ISO containers. It increases their interior storage space to 3,043 cubic feet.

Beyond having the largest cubic capacity of any other product, the 40-foot High Cube Wind and Water Tight Containers are very functional. The Wind and Wight Tight, or WWT containers, are guaranteed to be weatherproof after receiving inspections and certifications from Container Alliance teams. They often come in random colors, with surface rust in some areas that have been scratched or dented. Nonetheless, they are fully functional and entirely secure but with a more economical cost.

Optional add-on modifications (during checkout, please indicate in order notes if you would like any of the following):

8' Rollup Door (+ $2,500): If you are using your container for storage and you anticipate yourself frequently going in and out of your container, the standard large swing doors of a shipping container can become a hassle. Installing a roll-up door is a great way to get in and out of your container quickly.

Lock Box (+ $300): To keep your belongings safe and secure in your container, you need a reliable lockbox. Our lockboxes keep your pad locked out of view and inaccessible to bolt cutters, so even if someone really wants to get inside, they won’t be able to.

3' x 6'8" Steel Man Door (+ $1,900): If you need frequent access to the goods inside of your container, or you plan on converting the container into an office space or something similar, installing a safe steel man door is a must. This is an especially good option for those who know they need to install a door, but quickly tire of bending over to open a roll-up door.
