The HA170BV hood eliminates monitor glare for improved outdoor viewing for Sony PVM A170 monitors as well as Panasonic 17 inch monitors.  Universal mounting is facilitated by affixing the 3 enclosed adhesive velcro strips to the top and sides of the monito housing.  Hood is constructed with rugged plastic inserts encased in Nylon Pak Cloth.  Removable bottom panel converts the 4 sided hood to a 3 sided visor quickly.  The included rain cape protects your monitor from the elements.  The water resistant hood fold flat for easy storage and transport.  If your monitor is not listed below but is in the 17 inch range, you can check out the dimensions section above to determine if this hood will work for you.  Should your monitor housing be larger than the span across the hood, then you can mount the hood directly on the face of the monitor bezel.
