The AATON XTR Production S16mm Camera is a great alternative to the ARRI 416. It’s small, lightweight, reliable, and quiet. This camera covers Super 16mm film.

The Cote & Reyes Aaton XTR Prod Battery Plate and Top Handle System is a battery plate and top handle system to modernize the Aaton XTR S16mm Production Film Camera. The battery plate is a regulated 12V 4.5A Gold Mount plate and will work with Gold Mount onboard batteries.  This plate was made to be used with smaller batteries such as the Anton/Bauer Titon Micro, Bebob Micro, and CoreSWX Nano. These micro batteries all basically have the same footprint, which will keep the build smaller. Older and bigger batteries will not fit. This system also has two regulated 12V 4.5A 2-pin LEMO outputs and two D-tap outputs to power modern 12V accessories. There are several mounting points on the side plate and top handle to help eliminate the use of velcro. The top handle also can be used with an eyebolt to provide support for an Easyrig or similar handheld support rig.
