The Metabones EF to RF mount T Smart Adapter is designed to allow a Canon EF or EF-S-mount lens to be used with a Canon RF-mount camera with full electronic communication. This high-precision device is constructed from aluminum alloy for lightweight durability and has brass mounting rings to further prevent wear-and-tear. The adapter includes a removable tripod collar with a detachable Arca-type compatible tripod foot and has a matte black internal surface that minimizes the potential for reflections within the adapter barrel to prevent unwanted glare in the image. If the lens includes autofocus, image stabilization, as well as camera-controlled aperture functions, this adapter is intended to allow those features to be used. If an attached lens is also capable of generating Exif metadata when used with a directly compatible camera, the Smart Adapter is designed to allow that information to be saved along with image files generated.
